I think this would be good as a Horace Board. i was never totally comfortable about Horace being on the Beau Peep forum before. It confused Dennis, and apparently only the Colonel understood things, but he's a looney.
There must be millions of some Horace fans who would like a spiritual home. This could be that Mecca...

Can we call it the naughty board and send people here if they've been bad? No, as I will end up spending all my time here. You wont even make the naughty step...you'll be under the naughty slabs.

It's a possibility. I always thought Horace was kind of headed off at the pass on the other board. Won't you need a Horace website as well, with strips?

That could follow, but probably not needed. The Mirror posts Horace strips every day, and it's easy to link. There must be an army of Horace fans out there as the Mirror has a bigger circulation that the Daily Star, and this could well become the place to be, what with it's polling facilities and the like button. I think there's room for both.

Do you think we'll eventually need some kind of queuing system for all the Horace fans? (You made me laugh. I have missed that.)

If you keep adding and taking away your vote, it looks like trombone valves. Can't help but think the Lurpack music would have given the poll a certain "je ne sais quoi".

I thought I'd get the ball rolling and post a few of my favourite Horace strips on the Saloon Bar thread.

Thanks. I don't need you to seduce me.
I'll work on this "Horace" forum, and look in on yours too, now and again. I'll see if we can organise a football match on Xmas day in "No-Man's Land". I can't promise.

I can't promise. I am glad you have made a choice. You took your time. In that case, if I post again in the future, it will be here only. If I am not welcome, which is fine, I won't post at all. Either way, I am going to take a break now. I am worn out, and have a lot to do, and I cannot continue to neglect those I have neglected for the past few days.

Yeah I've got loads of Horace strips and, if Roger agrees, I'll start to put some more up.

Well, I'm totally confused - my own fault, as I haven't been around for a while. So, I'll just go with the flow (and Roger). Hello, everybody, btw. Aha! seems I replied on the first page of this thread, before the decision about Horace was made. So this is going to be the Horace Forum, am I correct?

So, does this mean I have to pretend to be a great fan of Horsie as well, and say I've collected all the books, and buy mugs and t-shirts and stuff? That wasn't in my ocntract. Sheesh!
